3.Select a station.

Auto tuning

: Press the MULTI CONTROL keys to receive the next

 

tuned station automatically.

 

(On the remote control unit, press the 1or ¡key.)

P. call on

: Press the MULTI CONTROL keys to select a stored

 

preset. When a key is held depressed, preset stations will

 

be skipped at an interval of about 0.5 second. See the

 

procedures below for details on presetting stations.

Manual tuning

: Press the MULTI CONTROL keys to select a frequency.

 

(On the remote control unit, press the 1or ¡key.)

Auto Memory

÷When the Auto memory is complete, the station assigned to preset 1 is tuned.

÷With models that have RDS functions (U.K. and Europe models only), only FM stations are preset using the Auto Memory function. To preset AM (MW/ LW) stations, please follow the procedure in “One-by- one presetting (manual preset)” on this page.

÷Some stations may not be able to be preset if their reception conditions are weak.

÷A maximum of 40 stations are preset automatically with priority given to the FM band.

÷When there are many stations and the intended station has not been preset, please follow the procedure in “One-by-one presetting (manual preset)” on this page.

÷The stations which were previously preset are overwrit- ten.

One-by-one presetting (manual preset)

1Keep the ENTER key depressed for about 2 seconds during reception to enter the memory mode.
