Allowing installation of drivers that are not
digitally signed (Windows XP only)
Ifthecomputeryou’reusinghasbeensettoforbidthe
installationofanydriversthatarenotdigitallysigned,
youwon’tbeabletoinstalltheKORGUSB‐MIDIdriveror
theFireWireAudio/MIDIdriver.Proceedasfollowsto
changethissettingsothatyou’llbeabletoinstallthe
drivers.
1. Fromthetaskbar,click[Start]→[ControlPanel]to
accessthecontrolpanel.
2. Inthecontrolpanelwindow,double‐click[System],
andthenclickthe[Hardware]tab.
3. In“Drivers,”click[DriverSigning].
4. Inthe“WhatactiondoyouwantWindowstotake?”
area,choose[Ignore]or[Warn],andthenclick[OK].
Ifnecessary,youcanchangethissettingbacktoits
originalstateafteryou’veinstalledtheKORGUSB‐
MIDIdriver.
Installation in Mac OS XInstalling the software
You’l lneedtoruntheinstallerseparatelyforeach
softwareitemsuchastheKORGUSB‐MIDIdriverandthe
PS60Editor/Plug‐InEditortoinstallthemoneatatime.
1. InserttheincludedaccessorydiscintotheCD‐ROM
driveofyourcomputer.
2. Ontheaccessorydisc,double‐clickthesoftware
installer(.pkg)tostartuptheinstaller.
Eachinstallerislocatedinthefollowingfolder.
•KORGUSB‐MIDIdriver
“KORGUSB‐MIDIDRIVER”folder→KORGUSB‐
MIDIDRIVER.pkg
•PS60Editor
“PS60Editor”folder→PS60EditorInstaller.pkg
3. Followtheon‐screeninstructionstoinstalleachitem
ofsoftware.
IfyouintendtousethePS60withthecomputerviathe
USBport,you’llneedtoinstalltheKORGUSB‐MIDI
driveronyourcomputer.
WhenthePS60Editor/Plug‐InEditorhasbeen
installedsuccessfully,restartyourcomputer.OnMac
OSX,thestand‐aloneversionandtheplug‐inversion
areeachinstalledintheirownfolder.
