WARNINGS

b. Bow the rod down in the center until the right side of the rod is disengaged from the hole.

c. Slide the rod to the right until the left side of the rod is disengaged from the slot. Remove the rod and the mesh screens from the fireplace.

Step 3 Center the screen panel over the glass frame as shown in Figure 3. Press the screen door onto the glass frame. If necessary, slightly bend the side flanges of the screen panel inward for a tighter fit.

Step 4 (OPTIONAL) Reinstall the mesh screens that were removed in

Step 2.

GENERAL INFORMATION

These optional Screen Kits are designed to fit over the glass door frame and helps prevent direct human contact with the hot glass surface.

WARNINGS

Hot! Do not touch! These screen panels are NOT heat guards. The glass behind the screens will be hot during operation and will retain heat for a while after shutting off the appliance. Severe burns may result. Carefully supervise children in the same room as appliance.

•As with any similar heating appliance, surfaces of the frame, the door and appliance can become very hot.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 Turn off the fireplace and allow it to cool before proceeding. Step 2 Remove the mesh screens from the fireplace as follows and as

shown in Figure 2.

a. Unhook the center of the rod from the hook bracket above the top center of the glass door frame.
