WEnsure that there is adequate space around the appliance for ventilation and air extraction.

WAvoid keeping the door open for too long.

WStore food logically. Do not exceed the storage period specified.

WKeep all food properly packed and covered so as to avoid its frosting up on the outside.

WAlways allow hot food to cool to room temperature before placing in the appliance.

WDefrost frozen food in the refrigerator.

WKeep the appliance door shut in the event of a break- down. This will delay the cold loss and will help to main- tain the quality of the frozen food for longer.

If you do not store much frozen food in your freezer you can use the insula- tion plate to cut your freezer's energy consumption by up to half.

-You can "switch off" any number of drawers up to 5 (depending on model). At least 2 drawers are required for the refrigeration unit to work.
