Interior Masonry Chimney Conversions• Follow the requirements and use the equipment listed in the illustration below to install this appliance
into an interior masonry chimney.
• Maximum vertical rise is 40'
• Minimum vertical rise is 10'
• See the chart on page 18 for determining the correct restrictor position.
NOTE: these restrictor positions are based upon lab tests. The ideal restrictor position may vary
slightly.
The entire chimney system
must be air-tight. Make sure to
seal the flashing, clean-out,
and thimble connection, and to
inspect the chimney.
