Interior Masonry Chimney Conversions
Follow the requirements and use the equipment listed in the illustration below to install this appliance
into an interior masonry chimney.
Maximum vertical rise is 40'
Minimum vertical rise is 10'
See the chart on page 18 for determining the correct restrictor position.
NOTE: these restrictor positions are based upon lab tests. The ideal restrictor position may vary
slightly.
The entire chimney system
must be air-tight. Make sure to
seal the flashing, clean-out,
and thimble connection, and to
inspect the chimney.
