When you purchase or rent a DivX® file through the official site of DivX® Video-On-Demand (VOD) services, the unit registration code is required. For details, see “DivX Registration” (vpage 40).

A DivX® VOD file recorded with a different code from the unit registration code cannot be played back.

Some DivX® VOD files are restricted to a certain number of playable times. If your DivX® VOD file has such a limit, the number of playable times is displayed on the DivX® VOD display screen.

Use o p to select “Yes” if you want to play a file, or to select “No” if you do not want to play it. Then, press ENTER to confirm the selection.

The unit supports high-speed USB file transfer (conforming to USB 2.0).

AVCHD content stored on the USB memory device connected to the unit can also be played.

USB memory devices of up to 2 TB are recognized.

NOTE

Insert and remove a USB memory device with the power set to standby. If it is inserted or removed with the power on, the recorded files cannot be loaded or may be damaged.

It is not compatible with an MP3 player, digital camera, a USB device for a mobile phone, etc.

The unit cannot charge a USB device.

The unit does not support a card reader, USB extension cable, or USB hub.
