z1 The output format is automatically changed depending on the audio format or number of channels that the connected HDMI device supports.

z2 When “BD Audio Mode” (vpage 29) is set to “Mix Audio Output”, the secondary audio and interactive audio are mixed to output linear PCM.

z3 If the connected HDMI device does not support Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, or DTS-HD, the signal is output as Dolby digital or DTS Digital Surround bitstream. If it does not support the Dolby Digital or DTS Digital Surround bitstream, it is output as multi-linear PCM or 2-channel linear PCM.

z4 When “Video resolution” (vpage 27) is set to “480/576i” or “480/576P”, DOLBY TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio bitstreams are output as DOLBY DIGITAL and DTS Digital Surround bitstreams, respectively. Also, the DSD multi-channel signals are output as DSD 2 channel signals.

z5 If the connected HDMI device does not support AAC , the signal is output as Linear PCM.

z6 If the connected HDMI device does not support DSD, the signal is output as Linear PCM. If a DSD signal is output from the HDMI output terminal, the signal output from the analog audio output terminals is muted.
