POINT
The functions given in this chapter need not be used generally. Use them
if you are not satisfied with the machine status after making adjus tment
in the methods in chapter 8.
If a mechanical system has a natur al resonance point, increasing the servo system response may c ause
the mechanical system to produce resonance (vibration or unusual noise) at that resonance frequency.
Using the machine resonance suppression fi lter and adaptive vibration suppression control functions can
suppress the resonance of the mechanical system.

(1) Function
The machine resonance suppression filter is a filter function (notch filter) which decreases the gain of
the specific frequency to suppr ess the resonance of the mechanical system. You c an set the gain
decreasing frequency (notch frequency) and gain decreasing depth.
