The Monitor Off Menu
When the camera is operated on battery power, the monitor turns off automatically if no operations are performed for twenty seconds. This time limit can be changed using the Monitor Off menu.
PLAYBACK
In the setup menu, highlight Monitor Off and press the multi selector to the right. The menu shown at right will be dis-
played. Highlight the desired option and press the
button or press the multi selector to the right to put your choice into effect and return to the setup menu.

OPTIONS MENU SETUP—
When the camera is powered by an AC adapter (available separately), the monitor remains on for ten minutes when no operations are performed, regardless of the setting in the Monitor Off menu.
Restoring the Monitor Display
To turn the monitor on again after it has turned off automatically, press the 
button.
