With The ELECTRIC QUESADILLA MAKER™, you can use your imagination and choose
your favorite ingredients to create your very own ho memade Quesadilla.
You can even create two different types of quesadillas a t the same time by adding your
favorite ingredients to only one half of a tortilla and fol ding it, then adding other ingredients
to one half of another tortilla and folding it. Place the tw o halved tortillas on the cooking
surface to appear to be one whole tortilla. Close cover an d cook for 3 to 5 minutes. When
done, separate the two halves; serve with salsa and or s our cream! Be creative and

BASIC CHEESE QUESADILLA
2 Flour Tortillas
1/4 Cup Finely shredded cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack or your prefere nce)
1/2 Cup Prepared salsa (Note: You may want to drain off some of liquid if ru nny)
Guacamole or small chunks of avocado (optional)
Preheat The ELECTRIC QUESADILLA MAKER™ as direct ed.
Place 1 tortilla on the bottom cooking surface.
Evenly distribute your choice of cheese or cheeses on t ortilla (up to a 1/2 inch from the
edge of the tortilla). Top with prepared salsa, spreading eve nly on cheese.
Add guacamole or avocado, if desired, evenly over ch eese and salsa.
Top with the second tortilla.
Close the lid on the unit and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on desired crispness and
thickness of fillings.
Open lid, as in directions with a pot holder or oven mitt. R emove with wooden or plastic
utensil. Place on plate and serve with additional prep ared salsa, if desired, top with sour
cream. This makes a great snack or quick lunch for after sc hool!
BASIC QUESIDILLA PLUS
2 Flour Tortillas
1/4 Cup Finely shredded cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack or your prefere nce)
1/4 Cup Cooked chicken, beef or your favorite meat torn into thin shreds or pieces.
1/4 Cup Prepared salsa
Guacamole or small chunks of avocado (optional)
Preheat unit as directed.
Place 1 tortilla on the bottom cooking surface of the u nit. Evenly distribute your choice of
cheese or cheeses on the tortilla (up to a 1/2 inch from the edge of the tortilla).
Top with desired meat or chicken, evenly distributed.
Add guacamole or avocado, if desired, evenly over ch eese and salsa.
Top with second tortilla
Close the lid and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on desired crispness and thickness of
fillings.
Open lid, with a potholder or oven mitt, using caution in the event of releasing steam.
Remove the quesadilla with wooden or plastic utensil. Place on plate and serve with
additional prepared salsa, and sour cream.
