When a lens other than the ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-42mm f3.5-5.6, ED 40-150mm f4.0-5.6 or 25mm f2.8 is used, the number of AF focusing points changes to 3 and AF is executed again when the shutter button is pressed all the way.
