Setup Card Operations

Setting menu contents can be stored using setup memory cards (SHL-064HSRVS, option). This data can then be used to quickly recreate the appropriate setup conditions. Subject data, etc. can also be stored on setup cards. See the Setup Card Application Instructions for a detailed de- scription.

ÁOptional cards include the general purpose memory card (SRAM 64KB or more) which is used as the setup card and the ATA flash memory card (4MB or more) which is used for the Picture Link function. (However, the AJ-YAP900 Picture Link adaptor board, which is available as an optional accessory, is required when using the ATA flash memory card.)

Setup Card Handling

Ejecting setup cards

Lift up on the lower edge of the cover to open the cover and remove the setup card.

Note{

Take care not to touch the connectors at the front of the setup card.

Inserting setup cards

Position the unit so that the panel with the logo faces you, insert the setup card into the setup card insertion slot and then close the cover.

Note{

Check that the unit is positioned with the logo facing you and that the characters are facing the correct direction, and then insert the card. Be sure to insert the card in the correct direction. If the card is difficult to insert, the card may be backwards or upside-down. In these cases, do not attempt to force in the card, but check whether the card is backwards or upside-down and then reinsert the card.

Usage and storage precautions

The following points should be observed when using and storing setup cards. ÁAvoid high temperatures and humidity.

ÁDo not expose setup cards to water. ÁAvoid electrostatic charges.

Store setup cards inserted in the unit with the cover closed.
