For details on [Rec] Mode menu settings, refer to P34.
Using one of these modes, jitter during picture taking is detected, and the camera
automatically compensates the jitter, enabling jitter-free images to be taken.

Note
The stabilizer function may not be effective in the following cases.
When there is a lot of jitter.
When the zoom magnification is high.
In Digital Zoom range.
When taking pictures while following a moving subject.
When the shutter speed becomes slower to take pictures indoors or in dark places.
Be careful of camera jitter when you press the shutter button.
The setting is fixed to [ON] in [SelfPortrait] in Scene Mode.
The setting is fixed to [OFF] in [Starry Sky] in Scene Mode.

You can take a picture with date and time of recording.

Note
Date information for pictures recorded with the [Date Stamp] set cannot be deleted.
When printing pictures with [Date Stamp] at a shop or with a printer, the date will be
printed on top of the other if you choose to print with the date.
Date information cannot be stamped into the pictures recorded without setting the clock.
The setting is fixed to [OFF] in the follo wing cases.
In [PanoramaAssist], [Hi-Speed Burst] and [Flash Burst] in Scene Mode
[Burst] in [Rec] Mode menu
[Text Stamp], [Resize], and [Cropping] cannot be set for pictures recorded with [Date Stamp]
set.
Even if you take a picture with [DateStamp] set to [OFF], it is possible to stamp dates onto the
recorded pictures using [Text Stamp] (P92) or setup the Date print (P98, 107)
