Confirmation me ssages or error messages will b e displayed on th e screen in som e cases.
The major messages are described below as examples.
[THIS MEMORY CARD IS LOCKED]
>The Write-Protect switch on the SD Memory Card and the SDHC Mem o ry Card are
moved to [LOCK]. Move the switch back to unlock it. (P15)
[NO VALIDPI CTURE TOP LAY]
>Record a picture or insert a card with a recorded picture and th en play it.
[THIS PICTURE IS PROTECTED]
>Delete the picture after canceling the protect setting. (P85)
[THIS PICTURE CANNOT BE DELETED]/[SOME PICTURES CANNOT BE DELETED]
•Pictures not based on the DCF standard cannot be deleted.
>If you want to delete some pictu res, format the card after savin g necessary data on a PC
etc. (P23)
[NO ADDITIONAL SELECTIONS CAN BE MADE]
•The number of pictures, which can be se t at one time when [MULTI] has been select ed f or
[DELETEMULTI] (P33), [FAVORITE] (P83), [TITLE EDIT] (P76), [TEXT STAMP] (P77) or
[RESIZE] (P79) has b een exceeded.
>Reduce the number of pictures set, and then repeat the opera tio n.
•More than 999 favorites hav e bee n set.
[CANNOT BE SET ON THIS PICTURE]
•[TITLE EDIT], [TEXT STAMP] or [DPOFPRINT] cannot be set for pictures not based on the
DCF standard.
[NOT ENOUGH SPACE ON BUILT-IN MEMORY ]/[NOT ENOUGH MEMORY ON THE
CARD]
•There is no space left on the built-in m em o ry or the card.
–When you copy pictures fro m the built-in memory to the card (ba tch copy), the pictures are
copied until the capacity of th e ca rd becomes full.
[SOME PICTURES CANNOT BE COPIED]/[COPY COULD NOT BE COMPLETED]
•The following pictures cannot be c opied.
–When a picture with the same nam e as the picture to be copied exists in t he c opy
destination. (Only when cop ying from a card to the built-in mem ory.)
–Files not based on the DCF standar d.
•Moreover, pictures recorded or edi t ed by other equipment may not be copi e d.
[BUILT-IN MEMORYERROR

•This message will be displayed when you formatted the built-in memory on a PC.
>Format the built-in memory on t he c amera again. (P23) The data on the built-in memory
