Preparation
•The brightness of t he pictures displaye d on the LCD monit or is increased so s ome subjects
may appear differently fro m act ua lity on the LCD monitor. However, this do es not affect the
recorded pictures.
•The LCD monitor automatic ally returns to normal brigh tn ess after 30 seconds when r ec ording
in Power LCD mode. Press any b ut t on to make the LCD monitor brig ht a gain .
•If the screen is difficult to see be ca use of sunlight etc. shining on it, us e your hand or another
object to block the light.
•The number of recordab le pictures decreases in A uto Power LCD mode and Pow er LCD mode.
•The [PATTERN] setting is fixed to [ ] in the Intelligent au to mode and the clipboard mode.
•Press the shutter button half way or turn the camera off and on to can ce l [POWER SAVE].
•[POWER SAVE] is set to [5MIN. ] in the Intelligent au to mode and the clipboard mode.
•[POWER SAVE] is fixed to [2MIN.] when [AUTO LCD OFF] is set to [15SEC.] or [30SEC.].
•The status indicator lights w hi l e t he LCD monitor is turned off. Pres s any button to turn on the
LCD monitor again .
•[AUTO LCD OFF] does not work wh ile operating menu or playba ck zoo m.
•The auto review function is act i v ated regardless of its setting when using auto bracket (P43),
[HI-SPEEDBURST] (P49) and [FLASH BURST] (P49) in scene mode, burst mode (P63) and
when recording still pictures with audio (P66). (The pictures cannot be enlarged.)
•In Intelligent auto mode, the auto review function is fixed to [2SEC.].
[GUIDE LINE]
Set the pattern of the guide lines displayed when taking pictures.
You can also set whether or no t to have the recording information
displayed when the guide lines a re displayed. (P3 5)

to prevent discharge of the battery.

used for the time s elected on the setting.

[AUTO LCD OFF]:
The LCD monitor is automa tically turned off if the camera has not
been used for the time selected on the setting.

Set the length of tim e that the picture is disp layed after taking it.

[HOLD]: The pictures are displaye d until one any of t he buttons
is pressed.
[ZOOM]: The picture is d isplayed for 1 s econd and then
enlarged 4k and displayed for 1 more second.
