Advanced (Recording pictures)
Press 3/4 to select the item and then press [MENU/SET].•fps “frames per second”; This refers to the number of fra mes used in 1 second.
•You can record smoother m otion pictures wit h “30 fps”.
•You can record longer motion pictures wit h “10 fps” although the pictu re quality is lower.
•[ ] can be enjoyed on the TV as high qual i t y m ot i on picture by using the componen t
cable (DMW-HDC2; opt ional). Refer to “P laying back on the TV with component socket”
(P95) for details.
•The file size with [ ] is small so it is suitable for e-mails.
¢Cannot be recorded in the bu i l t- i n m em or y.
Press [MENU/SET] to close the menu.•You can also press the shu tter button halfway to close the menu.

•Refer to P114 for information about th e av ailable recording time.
•The available recording time displayed on the screen may not dec rease regularly.
•Depending on the type of the car d, the card access indication m ay appear for a while after
recording mot ion pictures. This is not a malfuncti on.
•When motion pictures record ed with the camera are played bac k on other equipment, the
quality of the picture and sound may deteriorate and it may not be poss ible to play them back.
Also the recording informat ion may not be displayed corre ct l y.
•LUMIX models sold after August 200 8 have improved sound quali ty, so motion pi c ture cannot
be played back on previous models .
•In motion picture mode, the follo wi n g functions cannot be used.

image stabilizer function
•This unit does not support recor ding motion pictures on Mult i M ed iaCards.
