Playing Back Pictures on a TV Screen
Preparations:
Set the [TV A SPECT ]. ( P22)
Turn this unit and the TV off.
1Yellow: to the video input sock et
2White: to the audi o input socket
AAlign the marks, and insert.
BAV cable (supplied)
•Check the directions of the conn ectors, and plug them straight in or unplug them straight out.
(Otherwise the connectors m ay be bent out of shape which will cause t rouble.)
Connect the AV cable B (supplied) to the video input and the audio
input sockets on the TV.
Connect the AV cable to the [AVOUT] socket on the camera.
Turn the TV on and select external input.
Turn the camera on.
Note
•Depending on the [ASPECTRATIO], black bands may be displayed on the top and bottom or
the left and right of the pictures.
•Do not use any other AV cables except the su ppl i e d one.
•Read the operating instruc tio ns for the TV.
•When you play back a picture vert i ca lly, it may be blurry.
•You can view pictures on TVs in other countries (regions) which use the NTSC or PAL system
when you set [VIDEOOUT] in the [SETUP] menu.（PAL video out is not available on the
version DMC-FX37P sold in the U.S.）
•Even if you set [VIDEO OUT] to [PAL], the output signal will still be NTSC in the recording
mode.（PAL video out is not avail a ble on the version DMC-FX37P sol d i n t he U .S.）
Still pictures recorded on an SD Memory Card can be played back on a TV with an SD
Memory Card slot.
