This unit will record the high definition quality programmes§1 of the digital broadcast onto the HDD with high quality image and audio as it was
broadcasted.
If copying is performed on those programmes, they are copied in standard definition.
§1It will also record standard definition programmes of the digital broadcast with the same quality of image and audio as broadcasted.
§2You cannot switch the subtitle on or off during the playback of the copied title.
§3You cannot operate the Teletext during the playback of the copied title. (>27)

≥Copy as standard definition (SD) quality
≥Copy in Normal Speed mode
