Changing the display contrast

Use this feature to adjust the brightness of the display.

NORMAL: (Pre-selected setting)

DARKER: Used when the display contrast is too light.

1	Press	MENU .	Display:	SYSTEM SET UP
2	Press	, then	3 9 .	LCD CONTRAST
3	Press	START/COPY/SET .		MODE=NORMAL
				MODE=NORMAL
4	Press	or	to select the desired setting.
5	Press	START/COPY/SET .
6	Press	MENU .

Setting the message alert

When this feature is on, the unit will let you know with a slow beep that a caller’s message is recorded in common memory.

Settings Special

Press MENU .

Display: SYSTEM SET UP

Press , then 4 2 .

MESSAGE ALERT

Press START/COPY/SET .

MODE=OFF

Press or to select “ON”.

MODE=ON

●If this feature is not required, select “OFF”.

Press START/COPY/SET .
