Sending faxes using the EASY DIAL directory

Before using this feature, program the desired names and telephone numbers into the directory (see page 26). To confirm the items stored in the directory, print a telephone number list (see page 65).

1	Open the document feeder tray.
2	Adjust the width of the document guides to the size
	of the document.
3	Insert the document FACE DOWN (up to 5 sheets)
	until a beep tone is heard.
	Display:
			STANDARD
4	Press RESOLUTION
		repeatedly to select the
	desired setting, if necessary (see the bottom of
	page 31).
5	Rotate EASY DIAL until the desired name is
	displayed.
	Example:
			Kim
6
	Press START/COPY/SET .
	Example:		TEL=2223333

CONNECTING

●The unit will start transmission.

Note:

●If the desired name has not been stored, press STOP and dial the number manually.

To store the name, see page 26.

If the line is busy or there is no answer, the unit will automatically redial the number up to 5 times.

●This feature is also available for; —delayed transmission (page 36) —receive polling (page 52)

●While waiting for redial, the following will be displayed.

Display: WAITING REDIAL

● To cancel redialing, press STOP .
