FAQ
Writing fails.
Why?
Check that media recommended for this drive is
used, and the writing speed is appropriate to the
media.
BUse discs (media) recommended for this drive
(see p.61).
BUse High Speed CD-RW for 4-10X writing and
Ultra Speed CD-RW for 8X writing or higher.
Why does
data size change
before and after
writing?
It is caused by a difference in sector size
between the disc (media) and the hard disk. When
data is written to disc (media), the data size becomes
slightly bigger than that of the data stored on a hard
disk.
Depending on the writing mode, the information area
is also used.
How can I
make my best
selection Audio
CD?
Extract the data you want from each Audio CD
and write it to the hard disk as wav files (S.wav),
using the supplied writing software.
For details, refer to the PDF manual for the supplied
writing software.
Is it possible
to use several
drives or writing
software
programs for
additional
writing?
Use the same drive and the same software for
additional writing.
If you do not, previously written data may not be
readable. A disc written on more than one drive may
not be read or written correctly.
