Important Safety InstructionsBUnplug AC cord from outlet if any
of the following happen:
– It is damaged.
– Foreign objects get into it.
– It emits smoke or odor.
– It becomes excessively hot.
Because fire or electric shock may be caused
by continued use. If any of the above occur,
immediately turn off the Power Switch and
unplug AC cord from outlet.
BDo not touch metallic parts of drive,
AC adaptor or AC cord when there is lightning.
It may cause electric shock.
BDo not move drive when AC cord is connected
to AC outlet.
AC cord may be damaged and it may cause fire or electric
shock.
If AC cord is damaged, unplug AC cord from outlet
immediately, then contact a service office.
BDisconnect AC cord from AC outlet by pulling on
the plug.
Pulling AC cord may cause damage to the cord itself, and
then it may cause fire or electric shock.
BAvoid direct contact for a prolonged period.
Direct contact with a high-temperature part of AC adaptor may
cause low-temperature burns.
Low-temperature Burns:
Low-temperature burns may be caused by prolonged contact of
the same part of the skin with an object that has an even slightly
higher temperature than body temperature.
BDo not move or lift drive while disc inside is
rotating.
If the disc becomes detached, it may be damaged.
BDo not use cracked or repaired discs.
Disc may break and cause injury.
