In Ymode, [Focusing Area] can only be set to J(Multiple) or K(Spot).

In band I mode, [Focusing Area] is set to J(Multiple).

In dmode, you can set the focusing area in the recording mode menu but the focus mode during shooting is fixed to 3. (p.79)

If you use the [Focusing Area] function frequently, you can save time by assigning it to the Green button. (p.56)
