Taking Movies (Movie Mode)
This mode lets you take movies. Sound can be recorded at the same time.
1 Set the mode dial to C.

2 Press the shutter release button.
Recording starts. The flash status lamp flashes during recording.
You can change the captured area by pressing the Zoom/w/xbutton.
x: enlarges the subject.
w: enlarges the area captured by the camera.
3 Press the shutter release button.
Recording stops and the flash status lamp goes off.
•The flash will not discharge in Movie mode.
•Continuous shooting is not possible in Movie mode.
•The LCD monitor cannot be turned off in Movie mode.
•The focus is fixed while recording in Movie mode.
•You cannot use the optical zoom while recording in Movie mode. You should compose the picture on the LCD monitor when you use the digital zoom function.
