Taking Time-lapse Movies

This mode lets you take movies at a delayed frame rate, so that when you play the movie at the normal frame rate, the action appears speeded up. For example, if you choose the ×2 setting, half the normal number of frames will be taken, so that when you play the movie at the normal frame rate, the action will appear to be twice as fast as normal.

1 Press the 3 button in C mode.

The [A Rec. Mode] menu appears.

2 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Movie]. 3 Press the four-way controller (5).

The Movie screen appears.

4 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Time-lapse Movie].

You can choose from Off, ×2, ×5, ×10, ×20, ×50 and ×100.
