Taking Still Pictures in Voice Recording Mode

1 Press the Abutton quickly in Voice Recording mode.

The camera switches to A mode while recording continues.

The recording time appears on the Amode screen.

Refer to “Taking Pictures” (p.53) for details of how to take still pictures.

Press the shutter release button halfway.

The focus frame turns green if the subject is in focus.

Press the shutter release button fully.

The picture is taken.

Recording continues after the picture has been taken.

•The shutter sound and operation sound are muted when taking a still picture during voice recording.

•When you switch to Amode during recording, the lens extends while recording continues. The sound of the lens extending may be picked up at this time.
