Setting Auto Power Off

You can set the camera to turn off automatically when no operation is performed for a fixed time.

1 Select [Auto Power Off] on the [uSet-up] menu. 2 Press the four-way controller (5).

A pull-down menu appears.

3 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [5min], [3min] or [Off].

4 Press the shutter release button halfway.

The Auto Power Off setting is saved and the camera returns to capture status. Refer to Step 6 of “How to Use the Menus” (p.45) for other operations after the setting has been made.

Auto Power Off does not function in the following situations:

•during a slideshow or movie playback

•while the camera is connected to a PC or printer
