Headphone
4Insert the plug into the headphone socket nat the front of the TV.
4Press con the remote control to switch off the internal loudspeakers of
your TV.
The headphone socket has an impedance of between 8 and 4000 Ohm and is of
the 3.5 mm jack type.
In the SOUND menu select Headphone to adjust the headphone volume and
balance and to select the audio source for your headphone sound. See p. 15.
Extra loudspeakers
To achieve a better sound effect you can connect 2 or 4 extra loudspeakers,
min. 8Ohm. See also Spatial and Surround Sound, p. 15.
4Connect the loudspeakers to the connector clips at the back of the TV.
4Push the connector clip down and insert the ends of the wires into the
openings : the negative wires (usually the darkest ones) to the black connector
clips, the positive wires to the red connector clips. On the back of the TV it is
indicated where you connect the FRONT and REAR loudspeakers.
Do not insert the wires too far.
In case of 2 extra loudspeakers :

4Connect them to REAR and FRONT.
4Press the loudspeaker switch on the back of the TV in the cposition.
5The internal loudspeakers of your TV are now switched off.

REAR L, the rear right loudspeaker to
REAR R.
5You achieve a surround sound effect.
A loudspeaker kit to achieve Surround
Sound, containing two extra boxes only to
be connected to REAR and 12 m wire can
be purchased from your dealer.
Do never connect the loudspeakers from
this kit to FRONT.
