Connecting the remote control
Use only the AY3769 remote control.
1Press 9on the unit twice to switch off the unit.
2Firmly connect the remote control to
pLINEOUT on the unit.
3Firmly connect the headphones to the plug on
the remote control.
4On the remote control keep 2;pressed for 1 second to switch on the unit
and to start playback.
➜Playback starts.The album number (MP3-CDs only) and the track number
are displayed on the remote control´s display.
5SetEVOL on the unit to position 8 and adjust the volume with
EVOLUME on the remote control.
Note:Replace the batteries as soon as no battis displayed on the remote
control´s display.
Wrist strap
1Thread the thin end of the wrist strap through
the eyelet in the unit.
2Thread the thick end of the strap through the
small loop and pull at the thick end to tighten
the strap.
