The sequence of audio files on

the disc

!Thisunit assigns folder numbers. The user

cannotassign folder numbers.

!Folderselection sequence or other opera-

tionmay be altered depending on the en-

codingor writing software.

!Upto 3 500 files on a DVD (-R/-RW) can be

playedback.

!Upto 999 files on a CD (-R/-RW) can be

playedback.

!Upto 700 folders on a disc can be played

back.

The sequence of audio files on

USB memory

ForUSB portable audio players, the sequence is

differentfrom that of USB memor y and de-

pendson the player.

!01to 05 represent assigned folder num-

bers.1to 6represent the playback se-

quence.The user cannot assign folder

numbersand specify the playback se-

quencewith this unit.

!Playbacksequence of the audio file is the

sameas recorded sequence in the USB de-

vice.

!Tospecify the playback sequence, the fol-

lowingmethod is recommended.

1 Createthe file name including numbers

thatspecify the playback sequence (e.g.,

001xxx.mp3and 099yyy.mp3).

2 Putthose files into a folder.

3 Recordthe folder containing files into the

USBdevice.

However,depending on the system environ-

ment,you cannot specify the file playback

sequence.

!Upto 65535 files on aUSB portableaudio

player/USBmemory can be played back.

!Upto 6000 folders on aUSB portable

audioplayer/USB memory can be played

back.

iPod compatibility

!Thisunit supports only the following iPods.
