Theseare the basic steps necessary to play a

DivX/JPEGwith your DVD player. More ad-

vancedDivX/JPEG operation is explained start-

ingin the following section. Refer to page 36.

1Sourceicon

Showswhich source has been selected.

2Foldernumber indicator

Showsthe folder number currently playing.

3Filenumber indicator

Showsthe file number currently playing.

4Playtime indicator

Showsthe elapsed playing time of the cur-

rentfile.

!Whenplaying a JPEG disc, play time in-

dicatordoes not appear.

5Filename indicator

Showsthe name of the currently playing

file.

1 Touchthe source icon and then touch

Discto select the DVD player.

#Ifno disc is loaded in the unit, you cannot se-

lectDisc (DVD player). Insert a disc in the unit.

2 Touchthe screen to display the touch

panelkeys.

#TouchHide to hide the touch panel keys.

3 Touchaor bto select a folder.

#Youcannot select a folder that does not have

aDivX/JPEG file recorded in it.

4 Toskip back or forward to another file,

touchoor p.

Touchingpskips to the start of the next file.

Touchingoonce skips to the start of the

currentfile. Touching it again will skip to the

previousfile.

#Youcan also skip back or forward to another

fileby pressing cor d(TRK).

5 Toperform fast forward or reverse,

keeptouching oor p.

WhenDivX disc is playing, if you keep touch-

ingoor pfor five seconds, the icon m

ornis highlighted. When this happens, fast

reverse/fastforward continues even if youre-

leaseoor p. To resume playback at a de-

siredpoint, touch f.

#Thisis fast forward and reverse operation only

forthe file being played. This operation is can-

celedwhen the previous or next file is reached.

#Youcan also perform fast reverse/fast forward

bypressing and holding cor d(TRK).

#Whenplaying JPEG file, performing this op-

erationenables you to search every 10 files.
