HDRadio broadcasting, display can be changed.

Radiobroadcasting, default display is changed

intostation name instead of frequency.

Introductionof advanced tuneroperation

1 TouchAV Menu and then touch

FunctionMenu to display the function

names.

Thefunction names are displayed and oper-

ableones are highlighted.

2 TouchESC to return to the frequency

display.

#Toreturn to the previous display, touch Back.

Storing the strongestbroadcastfrequencies

Theoperation is the same as that of the tuner.

Tuningin strong signals

Localseek tuning lets you tune in only those

radiostations with sufficiently strong signals

forgood reception.

1 TouchLocal on the function menu.

2 Touch donLocal to turn on.

#Toturn off, touch c.

3 Touchcor don Level to select the de-

siredlevel.

Largersetting number is higher level. The

highestlevel setting allows reception of only

thestrongest stations, while lower settings let

youreceive progressively weaker stations.

Switching the seek mode

Thereare two method of seek tuning settings,

oneis HD (Digital broadcasting stations seek)

andthe other is All (normal seek).

lectyour favorite setting.

All—HD

Switching the receptionmode

Ifa digital broadcast reception condition gets

poor,this unit automatically switches to the

analogbroadcast of the same frequency level.

Ifthis function is set to D/A Auto, the tuner

switchesbetween digital broadcast and ana-

logbroadcast automatically. If this function is

Analog,reception will be conducted within an

analogbroadcast.

toselect your favorite setting.

D/AAuto—Analog

Note

IfSeek is set to HD and Blending is set to

Analog,the tuner can not receive broadcasts. In

thiscase, the seek mode or reception mode is

changedautomatically as follows:

!WhenSeek is set to HD, if you switch

Blendingfrom D/A Auto to Analog,Seek is

changedto All.

!WhenBlending is set to Analog, if you switch

Seekfrom All to HD,Blending is changed to

D/AAuto.
