Selecting the DVD’s angle (multi-angle)
With DVDs including images recorded from multiple camera angles, the angle can
be switched during playback.

When the mark appears
during playback, press the
ANGLE button.
“” appears on the display window.

Press the ANGLE button to
select the desired angle.
The angle switches each time the
ANGLE button is pressed.
Hints:
•You can choose whether or not the
mark appears during playback by turning
the “Angle Indicator” setting on the setup
screen’s “Video” menu on and off. (Page
105)
•For some DVDs, the multi-angle setting
can also be switched from the menu.
Notes:
•DVDs on which multiple angles are
recorded are indicated by the mark
on the disc’s jacket.
When a section at which multiple angles
are recorded is played, the mark
appears on the display if the setup
screen’s “Angle Indicator” is set turned
on.
•The angle cannot be selected for titles for
which only one angle is recorded.
•If the angle is switched in the pause
mode, the pause mode is canceled.
