Viewing in slow motion - DVDs and video CDs

Operation from the main unit
In the still frame (pause) mode,
press and hold the previous or
next button.
4 : Reverse direction
¢ : Forward direction
To change the slow motion playing
speed:
Press the 4 or ¢ button during the slow
motion mode to adjust the speed in four
steps.
•Press the play button to cancel the slow
motion mode.
•The speed cannot be adjusted during slow
motion in the reverse direction.
Operation from the remote control unit
In the still frame (pause) mode,
press and hold the STEP/SLOW
button.

Notes:
•No sound is produced during the still
frame, step-by-step and slow motion play
modes.
•The pause, step-by-step play and slow
motion play modes cannot be set for
some discs. In this case the or
mark appears on the screen.
•It is not possible to play video CDs in slow
motion in the reverse direction.
