12.5 Usage Notes
12.5.1 Writing to Registers
Synchronization processin g is not perf ormed for timer coun t ing during register writes. Wh en
writing t o registers, always clear the appropriate s tar t b its for the channel (STR2–STR0) in the
timer start register (TS TR) to halt timer counting.
12.5.2 Reading Registers
Synchronization processing is performed for timer counting during register reads. When timer
counting and register read processing are performed simultaneously, the register value before
TCNT counting down (with synchronization processing) is read.
