Setting the video resolution

In a Shooting mode, touch → Movie Size.

Touch the desired option.

Icon Description

1280 X 720 HQ: Play back high-quality files on an HDTV.

1280 X 720: Play back on an HDTV.

640 X 480: Play back on an analog TV.

320 X 240: Post on a web page.

Selecting image quality

Set the photo and video quality settings. Higher image quality

settings will result in larger file sizes.

Setting the photo quality

The camera compresses and saves the photos you capture in

the JPEG format.

In a Shooting mode, touch → Quality.

Touch the desired option.

The camera captures 2 photos in both JPEG and MPO file formats. Using the Live Panorama mode 40 While pressing and holding [Shutter], slowly move the camera in the desired direction. If 3D Panorama mode is selected, the panoramic shot can be taken only in a horizontal direction. Release [Shutter] to finish shooting.
