In this chapter, you will learn how to check your ANS/FAX greeting message, monitor
incoming calls, record a memo, play and erase messages, and access your machine from
a remote telephone.

The LCD displays when
the message was
recorded.
Then the LCD display
counts down the time as
the message is played
back.

If you have not yet recorded an
ANS/FAX greeting message, an error
message appears in the LCD display.
You must record an ANS/FAX greeting
message before you set the machine to
ANS/FAX mode.
If you want to change a previously
recorded greeting message, simply
record the message again. Your
machine automatically records the new
message over the old one. For
instructions, see page 2.13.

When the Call Monitoring
option is on and an
incoming message is
being recorded, you hear
the callerÕs voice through
the speaker.
