FAST FORWARD/REVERSE

1 Press the FWD gor REV hbutton dur-

ing playback.

¡For DVDs, pressing the FWD gor REVhbut-

ton cycles the playback speed in four steps.In case of

DVDs, the sound will mute.

¡For audio CDs, the playback speed is ×16 fixed.

2 Press the PLAY button to return to normal

playback speed.

Note

¡FAST FORWARD or REVERSE from a TITLE to

other TITLEs is not possible.

You can also press the DIRECT

SKIP button, use the numeric but-

tons to enter the track number,

when the track number is entered

in the entry box, playback of the

desired track will start automatically.

SLOW MOTION

1 Press the FWD gbutton while playback is

paused.(Sound remains muted.)

¡Slow motion mode will be activated.

¡Pressing the FWD gbutton cycles the playback

speed in three steps. Select an appropriate speed

while referring to the speed indication on the screen.

2 Press the PLAY button to return to normal

playback speed.

Notes

¡Slow playback is not available with audio CDs

¡The reverse of slow playback is not available.

¡Slow playback from a TITLE to other TITLEsis not

possible.

STARTING FROM ADESIREDTRACK

1 Press the numeric buttons to enter the

desired track number.

The selected track will be located, and playback will start.

TRICKS WITH THE SKIPBUTTONS (H, G)

If the SKIP button Gis pressed during playback or

while playback is paused, the current track/chapter is

skipped and the next track/chapter is played. When the

SKIPbutton His pressed once, the top of the current

track/chapter is located for replaying. When the SKIP

button His pressed again within 2seconds after play-

back begin, the previous track/chapter is located.

Note

SKIPfrom a TITLE to other TITLEs is not possible.
