How to open the door.
STANDBY/ON indicator

*If the AVC System is switched on but it does not appear to be operating correctly, it may need resetting. In this

case, press RESET, shown in the diagram, lightly with the end of a ballpoint pen or other pointed object.

This will reset the System as shown below.

• AV MODE resets to STANDARD
• TV channel returns to initial channel setting (Air:2ch, Cable:1 or 2ch)
• Twin picture resets to normal
• Audio setting initializes
• Dolby virtual resets to Off
• Image position initializes

**The product may not function when receiving strong noise (e.g. excessive static electricity, power surge or

abnormal voltage due to lightning) or if operations are performed incorrectly. In such case, press SYSTEM

RESET and try operating again.

NOTE
• Pressing RESET will not work if the System is in standby mode (indicator lights red).
• Pressing RESET will not delete channel preset or secret number. See page XX for clearing the secret number when you
know it. See page XX for initializing to the factory preset values when you forget your secret number.
