󳂮When selecting the LATE NIGHT
This function compresses the dynamic range of previously specified parts of the Dolby Digital sound track(with extremely high
volume) to minimize the difference in volume between the specified and non-specified parts.
This makes it easy to hear all of the sound track when watching movies at night at low levels.
This function can be activated while playing the Dolby Digital program sources only.
󳂮When selecting the DVD AUDIO AREA
Some DVDAudio discs consist of DVD Video and DVDAudio contents. You can select the desired area to be played.
(For details, see the discs sleeve notes.)
Note : When the disc dose not contain the selected one at this menu, the available one will be played regardless of the DVD
AUDIO AREA setting.
󳂮When selecting the SACD AREA
Some SACDs consist of 2 channel and multichannel audio areas, and hybrid SACDs comprise 2 layer structure of an
HD(SACD) layer and CD layer. You can select the desired area/layer to be played.(For details, see the discs sleeve notes.)
You can select the desired area/layer with pressing the SACD AREA button, too. (For details, refer to To select a playback
area/layer on page 18.)
Note :When the disc does not contain the selected one at this menu, that cannot be played. Therefore you should select the
desired of the available ones.
1~8 : When adjusting the dynamic range compression as desired.
0 : When turning off the dynamic range compression.
Note: In some Dolby Digital softwares, this function cannot be available.
