Determine the stitching placement line. Place the finished edge under the foot at the placement line and sew [Fig. 1]. It may be necessary to use a tear-away stabilizer under the fabric for extra stability.

Stitch up matching trims for clothing or home decorating projects by sewing a decorative stitch on purchased ribbon 1/2” wide or wider.
