When sewing for heavy weight ma- terial, the thread guides ‘1’ move to the left (in direction ‘A’) to increase the length of thread pulled out by the thread
When sewing light weight material, the thread guides ‘1’ move to the
right (in direction ‘B’) to decrease the length of thread pulled out by the thread
When marker line ‘C’ on the thread guide ‘1’ is aligned with the center of the screw that is standard (Figure 30).
