Supplied accessories and installation methods
The speaker of this system can be installed in 2 ways: using the table top stand or wall mounting bracket. The accessories needed for each installation method are shown in the tables below.
Hooking up the speaker
Connect the speaker to the speaker output terminals of an amplifier.Make sure power to all components (included the subwoofer) is turned off before hooking up.

Precautions
On operation•Do not drive the speaker system with a continuous wattage exceeding the maximum input power of the system.
•If the polarity of the speaker connections are not correct, the bass tones will be weak and the position of the various instruments obscure.
•Contact between bare speaker wires at the speaker terminals may result in a short circuit.
•Before connecting, turn off the amplifier to avoid damaging the speaker system.•The speaker grille cannot be removed. Do not attempt to remove the grille on the speaker system. If you try to remove it, you may damage the speaker.
•The volume level should not be turned up to the point of distortion.If you encounter color irregularity on a nearby TV screenThis speaker system is magnetically shielded to allow it to be installed near a TV set. However, color irregularities may still be observed on certain types of TV sets.

Assembly
Attaching the table top stand
1Secure the terminal adapter () to the tabletop stand base () with the screws (M5) ()Attaching the wall mounting bracket
1Attach the wall mounting bracket (wall side) () to the wall mounting bracket (speaker
side) (), and secure with the supplied screws (for wall mounting bracket) () (-
1). Be sure that the slot in the wall mounting bracket (speaker side) () is uppermost.
TipAccording to where you position the speaker, you can attach the wall mounting bracket (wall side) () to the other side of wall mounting bracket (speaker side) ()
Secure the wall mounting hooks () to the back of the speaker with the screws (M4) () and connect the speaker cord ()
•Use screws that are suitable for the wall material and strength. As a plaster board wall is especially fragile, attach the screws securely to a beam and fasten them to the wall. Install the speakers on a vertical and flat wall where reinforcement is applied.
•Contact a screw shop or installer regarding the wall material or screws to be used.
•Sony is not responsible for accidents or damage caused by improper installation, insufficient wall strength, improper screw installation, or natural calamity, etc.
Placing the stickers
When using the speakers with their stands, you can cover the screw holes for wall mounting on the back of the speakers with the supplied stickers.
When installing the front/surround speakers on the wall, you can cover the screw holes on the bottom of the terminal adapters with the supplied stickers.
•Make sure the plus (+) and the minus
•Be sure to tighten the screws of the speaker terminals securely as loose screws may become a source of noise.
•Make sure all connections are firm. Contact between bare speaker wires at the speaker terminals may cause a short circuit.
•For details regarding amplifier connection, refer to the manual provided with your amplifier.

Placement des autocollants

Lorsque vous fixez les enceintes avant/surround au mur, vous pouvez utiliser les autocollants fournis pour obturer les orifices des vis situés sur le dessous des bornes de raccordement.
