Using the player control
Use the
Press the ///button to select the item in the menu, and then press the button to confirm. To return to the previous screen, press the BACK/HOME button. If you press and hold the button, the screen returns to the Home menu.
Getting Started
Before Connecting the Player
Before connecting the player to your computer, make sure that the OS is Windows XP (Service Pack 2 or later) or Windows Vista, and the installed Windows Media Player version on your computer is 10 or 11.
For example, when you want to play back a song by selecting (Music Library) on the Home menu, the menu changes as follows.

Charging the Battery
Connect the player to the running computer until
the battery icon indicates . Charging takes about 3 hours when the battery power is completely used up.

Do not leave the player connected for extended periods to a laptop computer that is not connected to
AC power, because the player may discharge the computer’s battery.
