Parental control levels on games

Most game packaging shows a symbol to indicate the age group that is appropriate to play the game. The symbols correspond to the UMD™ parental control level as shown below:

Hints

•The parental control level of a UMD™ can be checked under "Information" in the UMD™ options menu. For a UMD™ that does not include a parental control level, the "Parental Control Level" item under "Information" will display "-".

•A UMD™ that has been restricted by the parental control feature is displayed as (Restricted Content).

•Adults Only or AO ratings are rare. PlayStation® does not publish Adults Only games.
