,Audio signals from the LINE 1 jack are
output in standby mode when connecting
your TV to the LINE 3 – TV jack. This is
not a malfunction.
In this case, reconnect your TV to the
LINE 2 OUT jacks, or turn off the
equipment connected to the LINE 1 jack.

The sound volume is low.

,The sound volume is low on some DVDs.
The sound volume may improve if you set
“DRC” in the “Audio Out” setup to “On”
(page 79).

An alternate audio track cannot be

recorded or played.

,When recording from connected
equipment, set “External Audio” to
“Bilingual” in the “Audio In” setup

,When recording or playing multilingual
tracks (main or sub), set the appropriate
settings in the “Audio In” setup (page 77).
,If you have connected an audio component

and want to change the audio track for the
HDD (when “Bilingual Rec. Mode
(HDD)” is set to “On” in the “Audio In”
setup (page 77)) during playback, set
“Dolby Digital” in the “Audio Out” setup
to “PCM” (page 78).

broadcasting, you can check the signal
strength using the blue button (“Signal”) in
“Digital Channel List” in the “Channel”
setup (page 69).
