The depth gauge determines the thickness of the chip removed.
Specified distance between depth gauge and cutting edge:
a = 0.026 in (0.65 mm)
Lowering depth gauges
The depth gauge setting is reduced when the chain is sharpened.
:Check setting every time you sharpen the chain and, if necessary, lower the depth gauges with the USG universal sharpener.
