NStandard filter (1) with wire mesh (green filter housing) for normal operating conditions and use in winter.
NHD filter (2) (black filter housing) with felt prefilter for dry, very dusty operating environments
When dry, STIHL filters (standard and HD filters) attain a long service life.
NAlways use STIHL filters dry
Fouled air filters will impair engine performance, increase fuel consumption and make the machine more difficult to start.
