HINTS
•Use a carving board to avoid damage to blades and counter tops. As
with any sharp knife, the blades will scratch most surfaces.
•When the meat contains a bone, cut right down to the bone, but do not
attempt to cut through it.
•When slicing, gently guide the knife through the food. Excessive
sawing or pressure is unnecessary.
•Do not use knife to cut frozen food packages or any other hard
surfaces.
CARE AND CLEANING
CAUTION: ALWAYS UNPLUG UNIT BEFORE CLEANING. NEVER IMMERSE
BASE OF UNIT IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS.
Clean unit exterior by wiping with a soft damp cloth. Before washing, the
knife blades should be separated. Slide the knob down to the keyhole and
lift apart. Wash stainless steel blades in hot soapy water. Rinse well and dry
thoroughly. Replace the protective sleeve.
Any servicing requiring disassembly other than the above cleaning must
be perfor m e d by an authorized ser vice center.

returned postage prepaid to our National Service Center at the address shown

Products must be adequately protected to avoid shipping damage. Surround
your appliance with three inches of protective padding and include a copy of
your dated sales receipt and a note explaining the problem you have
experienced. We recommend insuring your package. No CODs accepted.
