Introduction

This owner’s manual applies to models 32A41 and 36A41, and there are slight differences between them. Model 32A41 is used in this manual for illustration purposes. Instructions in this manual are based on using the buttons on the remote control. Check the model of your TV before using this manual. Write your model and serial numbers in the spaces provided on the cover for your records.

Exploring your new TV

You can operate your TV using the buttons on the front panel or the remote control.

The back panel provides all the terminal connections you will need to connect other equipment to your TV.

Selecting a location for your TV

•Place the TV either on the floor or on the TV stand listed in the “Notice of Possible TV Stand Instability” at right.

•Place the TV in a location where light does not directly hit the screen.

•Place the TV far enough from the walls to allow proper ventilation. Inadequate ventilation may cause overheating, which may damage the TV.

NOTE: Before installing your TV, please read the Important Information on page 2.
